Camino King lives mostly online, but the Camino deserves to be told in a room full of real people too. If you run a club, a workplace or a hiking group where someone is quietly dreaming about setting off, we would love to come by and tell you what it is really like.
Behind Camino King is Michael Kirkegaard, who walked his first Camino in 2016 and never quite came all the way home again. Since then it has become the Camino Francés twice, the way out to Finisterre four times and the Camino Portugués, plus a long list of smaller caminos in Denmark and other parts of Europe.
That is the experience you get. Not a polished script, but honest stories from someone who has packed the backpack wrong, blistered, lost the way and found it again. That is often what people remember afterwards, and it is what makes someone brave enough to take their own first step.
